PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for assembling, diagnosing and repairing both Cat and non-Cat hoses to customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Assembles, diagnose and repairs hoses according to customer specifications.


  • Troubleshoots and determines proper repair procedures for failed CAT and non-CAT hose assembly.


  • Inspects, disassembles and determines parts needed and reassembles hoses to factory specifications.


  • Interprets and utilizes information from Caterpillar's Hose Information System (HIS) and Service Information Systems (SIS) programs.


  • Prepares parts requisitions and other necessary paperwork.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

Education:

High School Graduate

Work Experience:

Five years of experience assembling hydraulic hoses.

Physical:

Must be able to periodically lift parts weighting up to 60 lbs.

Other:

Must have excellent customer service skills; Must be proficient with MS Office.
