Position Summary: | The Coordinator, Course Development and Operations (C-CDO) is a member of the Office of Online Programs (OOP) Learning Experience Team (LX Team) who will focus on coordinating online course offerings each term with academic programs. The C-DCO will be responsible for directly liaising with academic programs to confirm accurate lists of online courses to be duplicated by the Instructional Designers (ID) in the Learning Management System (LMS), cross-checking these courses with the master schedule, and documenting them in an internal database (QuickBase) to manage LX team workflows. Reporting to the Director of Course Development and Operations (D-CDO), this person will provide operational support to the entire LX Team through detail-oriented management of the course updates process and regular administration of team reports in QuickBase. While primarily focused on coordination and project management related activities, this person may be asked to support team members with content creation or technical related items within the LMS as needed.As a valued unit within the Office of the Provost and the larger Villanova community, the OOP embraces an intentionally designed hybrid work schedule to ensure that all employees can enjoy the benefits of belonging to a vibrant campus community. Minimum Qualifications: |
Desire to work in a mission-driven, cross-functional, team-based environment with a commitment to process improvement. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders – as the OOP’s stakeholders include faculty members and industry practitioners in all disciplines as well as other instructional and learning experience designers, multimedia production specialists, library professionals, and third-party vendors. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong technical troubleshooting skills. Experience managing complex projects with limited resources. Strong written, oral communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills. Adept at prioritizing tasks, conducting proactive follow-up outreach to constituents and helping the team meet deadlines in a very fast-moving organizational environment. Commitment to equity and inclusion as it relates to working at a diverse university.Flexible schedule which accommodates evening hours may occasionally be requested but would not be a frequent occurrence. In such instances, standard working hours would be adjusted as needed. |
