Salary: $165k - $195k, with 20-30% bonus opportunity
• Looking for someone at the Senior Director or VP level with extensive experience in our industry, particularly in manufacturing, power distribution equipment, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Open to candidates with experience in related products, components, or suppliers, but we're particularly interested in someone who is accustomed to manufacturing experience, rather than coming from a high-tech background.
• The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in building and leading teams, developing effective strategies, and creating recruitment programs tailored to our industry.
Essential Functions:
Provides Strategic Leadership to Executive Team on Recruitment, Hiring Practices and Staffing Strategies
Drives Recruitment Results to support the company's immense growth in a booming manufacturing industry
Establishes relationships and fosters partnerships with appropriate educational institutions, trade schools, external staffing agencies near manufacturing hubs.
Identifies internal and external recruitment practices that are scalable and leading edge
Establishes a collaborative team atmosphere among internal recruiting team.
Acts as a trusted advisor and solution provider to supervisors, managers, and executives alike.
Drives continuous improvement within the group's practices.
Oversees long-term recruitment pipeline. Tracks and reports to the executive team on candidate pipeline status; maintain recruiting tools.
Manage Online Recruitment Strategy; work with marketing to present in a favorable light on recruiting dashboards.
Assess and balance the workload of internal recruiting resources. Establishes Recruiting Department Organizational Structure to optimize effectiveness of the team.
Takes Ownership of comprehensive Hiring Standards, Candidate Vetting, and Selection Criteria.
Ensures compliance with applicable laws surrounding recruitment in various US States and Canada
Fosters Partnerships with external recruiting resources for hard-to-fill roles.
Implement systems that foster employee growth and advancement.
Collaborate with VP of Learning and Development to upskill existing talent, to help fill open requisitions with internal talent, providing upward mobility to employees
Maintains and optimizes our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools
Follow fair and transparent hiring practices

Education and Experience:
7+ years of progressive recruitment experience for manufacturing or similar environment
3+ years of experience in managing and leading a recruitment team
BS degree in Human Resources, Business, and/or a related field
Strong negotiation skills
Proven ability to partner with senior leadership
Expert level knowledge of recruitment technologies and strategies
Ability to prioritize workflow and maximize organizational efficiency.
Strong understanding of the full cycle recruiting and ATS Management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
