Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:



  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and approval.

  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Maintain and organize AP documentation and records for audit purposes.

  • Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related inquiries and improve processes.

  • Support the implementation of AP policies and best practices.

  • Monitor and manage cash flow by ensuring timely payment schedules.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of local and federal tax regulations related to accounts payable is a plus.
