Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and approval.
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain and organize AP documentation and records for audit purposes.
Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related inquiries and improve processes.
Support the implementation of AP policies and best practices.
Monitor and manage cash flow by ensuring timely payment schedules.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of local and federal tax regulations related to accounts payable is a plus.
