Infosys is seeing a Principal Consultant with Quality Engineering experience.

In the role of Principal Consultant, you will act as a domain consultant, validation and quality assurance expert and review the business functionality of existing systems. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Qualifications Basic:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with IT and quality engineering
• Location for this position is Raleigh, NC. This position may require 25-30% travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Requirement gathering and documentation for the detailed requirements with the impact analysis and high-level prototype.
• Design document to be prepared based on the signed requirement document.
• Resource planning for the implementation and estimated effort to be shared with business. Build to start on the scheduled timeline as per the plan.
• Test strategy, Test plan to be prepared with all the required test cases and steps to be performed.
• Requirement traceability matrix to be prepared to map the requirements with design and test cases to ensure no gap in the build and requirements.
•Test Automation Framework solution and development for the various platforms/devices and OS.
• Bring in Functional and Non-functional QE solutions.
• Have a regular status reviews meetings to ensure the project is on track as per the scheduled timelines
• Prepare a detailed progress reports on build activities and share with managers and business on regular intervals.
• Do presentations and demos whenever required with all the stakeholders to make the project status aligned.
• Design holds the architecture and system level changes with required diagrams and flow charts.
• Have regular Client interaction, demonstrations on the implementations.
• Involve in Technical problem solving and identifying the root cause of the issue and fixing the same.
• Post deployment support to be provided and the performance to be monitored.
• Test management, Automation management, Team management, Release management and Production environments.
• Good thought leadership and collaboration.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Ability to work with client business and IT teams and ensure testing delivery in good quality
• Agile software testing experience.
• Possess good Analytical skills
• Experience in utilities domain is a plus
• Excellent communication and client interfacing skills - should possess the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills- experience in client interfacing roles is a must
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
