A Kforce client located in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team for a 1 year project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational database systems and enterprise reporting. This role involves developing, validating, and managing reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting requests. The Data Analyst will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with data analysis and migration efforts, and support the migration of our ERP platform to a SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, query, and manage relational databases to support enterprise data needs
Develop and maintain reports using various report-building tools (e.g., SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Crystal Reports), ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Gather requirements for enterprise reporting requests, develop solutions, and deliver insights to support business decisions
Collaborate with Information Technology staff to assist with data analysis and migration efforts, particularly related to transitioning institutional systems to a software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment
Support data migration, integration, and reporting efforts as part of the ERP platform migration to a SaaS environment
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address enterprise data and reporting needs, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment of requests
Provide expertise in data analysis, reporting tools, and techniques to ensure accurate and consistent enterprise reporting
Manage and maintain data across multiple information systems platforms
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with relational database systems, including MySQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle
Proficient in generating, validating, and managing reports with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
Demonstrated experience in handling enterprise reporting requests, from gathering requirements to delivering insights
Background in database administration and development, with expertise in creating dashboards and detailed reports
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly within the higher education sector, is highly desirable
Experience with data migration and integration, especially in transitioning to SaaS environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with other departments to meet enterprise data needs
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Crystal Reports
Knowledge of best practices in data analysis, reporting, and database management
Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
