Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Senior Java Developer to join their team. At this point, they have a few separate apps that perform similar things, and they want to create one full new app and integrate everything into one experience. The backend will be all java/Springboot/Cassandra/Kuberntes/GCP, while the front end will be all React (they really need more strong Senior Java at the moment). They are also looking to move to 100% cloud running on GCP. Someone with GCP experience is a big plus. Overall, they are looking for a heavy hitter Senior Java Developer that can have a voice and make an instant impact with the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience with java; Ideally with Java 11+ (Lambdas and streams)


• Experience with Springboot


• Experience with TDD (Junit)


• Experience with Kubernetes


• Experience with React a plus


• Experience with cloud is a big plus (They use GCP)


• Strong team collaboration and communication

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
