Description:

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $19.14 and $19.78.

We Ask of You:

  • Greet all contractors/visitors/employees to the plant in a professional and courteous manner and direct them appropriately to their destinations.
  • Monitor and document all incoming and outgoing to the facility including incoming milk loads, outgoing product loads, contractor/visitor visits, employee entrance, deliveries, and incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed prior to finishing shift.
  • Facilitate incoming plant communications off-shift and weekends.
  • Conduct nightly rounds (door checks) making any unusual incidents known to supervisors and recorded.
  • Scale procedures: axeling out trucks, proper weight monitoring, cream loads, scale malfunctions.
  • Shipping/receiving common carrier paperwork, DLP load out, and Bills of Lading.
  • Complete Spill reports and distribute.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely.
  • Ability to maintain GMP’s, Safety standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing system software (e.g. SAP and MES) is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills including being responsive and having a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates a professional image in all situations.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Must be able to work Sunday - Saturday, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and required overtime to support a 24 hour/7-day operation.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 8.5 hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments with high degree of accuracy.

  • Able to read, write, and perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to positively interact with others.

  • Good time management skills and ability to complete assigned tasks and projects in expected time frames.

  • Able to interpret data and make necessary decisions.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • This position will be exposed inside ambient temperatures and may include a wet / slippery environment with loud noise in varying degrees of temperature.
  • Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing upstairs/ladders are required throughout the shift.
  • Standing and walking are required throughout the shift.
