Interpreter
Position Summary
The Interpreter provides language Interpretation for Access Community Health Centers (ACHC) patients, families, and staff. In addition, the interpreter would work on written translations as needed.
Desired candidate would have the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
High School Degree or Equivalent
Must have Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) certification
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural differences
Excellent Organizational skills
Flexibility and ability to perform under pressure
Fluent in Spanish
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience using medical terminology
Previous experience serving as an interpreter in a clinic or hospital setting
Compensation and Benefits:
Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, plus a full range of attractive benefits for regular full and part time staff working a minimum of 20 hours per week and includes:
Compensation starts at $30.80 and is adjusted according to experience
1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday, 9:00a-5:00p
