Overview
Lead project management in key areas of research. Independently design and conduct experiments. Develop standard operating procedures and new methods and protocols.
Work with PI to develop research goals and strategic plan for achieving them.
Analyze and interpret data, make figures for manuscripts, grants, and presentations.
Manage mouse colony.
Manage lab infrastructure including managing inventory and ordering suppliesSupervise and train junior lab members.
Consent patients for melanoma study.
Responsibilities
PhD in relevant field AND 1 year of relevant experience OR
Master's Degree in relevant field AND 5 years of relevant experience OR
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 9 years of relevant experience
Experience with Electrophysiology (ERGs, patch-clamp), mouse colony management, microscopy, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, Study Coordinator.
Mouse handling, retinal anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills including strong writing ability, strong organizational ability.
