Job Description:
I'm working with a local general contractor who has seen significant growth over the last few years. They are looking to continue that growth by hiring a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager or Director to join the DFW team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing current relationships as well as developing new ones. Your relationships within construction industry is key and they are looking for at least 5 years of local experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain / improve the existing client base to increase business
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and reports to senior management.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the construction industry in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Strong understanding of the local construction market and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Benefits:
Base salary between $110k-$135k
