Job Description:
*The sanitation lead roles will adhere to all safety policies/procedures and will prioritize human safety in all role responsibilities.
*Escalates any upset conditions, or policy/procedure violations that may adversely affect employee safety or food safety/quality to management immediately
*Ability to understand and complete all required records required for compliance to Mars, and all regulatory standards.
*Complete training on the safe operation of all necessary equipment to complete all job duties. Ensure that safe operation of equipment Is the priority when completing job duties.
*Ability to understand and train employees on chemical use in the pilot plant.
*Assist other area leads, and associates with trial objectives, shutdowns, sanitation, Pre-op inspection, and management of upset conditions.
*Responsible for leading/directing sanitation team to maintain FSSC/QMP food safe sanitary conditions within production environment, including cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment associated with wet, dry, care & treats production.
*Responsible for compiling, trending, and presenting all data supporting the PDC sanitation program including, but not limited to: pest control, micro results, master sanitation records, waste management, etc.
*Responsible for Implementing continuous Improvement based on output from management review, metric trending, or Incident management.
* Responsible for all plant hygiene stations operations and maintenance
*Leads micro program for Product Development Center
*Critical participant on Risk Assessments for new products, packages, processes and/or equipment
*Leads site pest control program for entire TNT campus
*Authors all SSOP documents
*Internal auditor across TNT campus
*Material requisitions for all cleaning/sanitizing supplies and contracted service
* Leads root cause analysis session for corrective and preventive action(s) related to sanitation practices and environmental impact making recommendations to correct issues.
