The global leader in automotive equipment has experienced tremendous market share growth and has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager in the Southeastern region of the United States. As a District Sales manager you will lead a sales force in your assigned region. Through this team you will sell automotive equipment to service centers, dealerships, and body shops. Snap-on Equipment has a wide range of premium products that help automotive service providers increase productivity and boost profits.


Products include: Wheel Aligners, Wheel Balancers, Tire Changers, Alignment Lifts



Responsibilities




  • Through a district sales force sell equipment, parts, and accessories.

  • Personally responsible for selling equipment products to regional and national accounts.

  • Ability to transport and unload large shop equipment on occasion.

  • Demonstrating products and providing training to customers on products.

  • Ensure that the district has full complement of qualified Equipment Sales Specialists.

  • Apply planning and metrics to monitor and evaluate performance of Sales personnel.

  • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to develop the team, taking corrective action when necessary.

  • Improve team approach to customer satisfaction.

  • Build solid relationships with personnel and customers with two way communication.

  • Simplify processes, meet or exceed key performance measures for sales objectives, quality of customer service, and financial objectives.

  • Develop plans and tactics to grow the business.




Qualifications




  • Associates Degree or Technical Certificate necessary; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Proven sales management experience of at least five years

  • Strong field sales experience

  • Capital equipment sales background is beneficial.

  • Accurate forecasting and planning ability

  • Exhibits leadership behaviors that show the individual is focused on meeting customer needs, driving solutions, meeting commitments, and building teams.

  • Invest approximately 75% of the time in the field.

  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, planning and the ability to monitor activities according to priorities.

  • Computer savvy (Microsoft Office suite)

  • Dedicated to the sale of premium undercar service equipment

  • Excellent at managing and prioritizing your time
