Position Summary
Terrasmart, a fast-growing company in the Renewables industry, seeks a motivated Engineering Technician to support the development, installation, and operation of our TerraTrak Single Axis Solar Tracker systems. This role involves providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support to internal teams and customers, contributing to our solar technology initiatives and professional growth opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide remote support for installation and configuration of TerraTrak systems.
Address software, electrical, and installation issues for customers.
Collaborate on testing and validation of system components.
Diagnose network connectivity issues with field technicians.
Update firmware and configuration for system elements.
Document troubleshooting activities and maintain knowledge database.
Train field technicians and customers on system use and troubleshooting.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role.
Strong troubleshooting and computer skills, familiarity with electrical fundamentals, and exposure to programming (Python, C/C ).
Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.
