Have been welding coils for a year.
Capability to understand quality standards and seek out issues on the line to communicate to Station Leader.
Capable of flexing to all stations, as needed, i.e. benders, Orbital weld, test coils, and special coil connection welding.
Perform a variety of welding tasks) including, but not limited to: Reading, interpreting, welding, and fabricating BAC parts from certified prints; do water-tight welding and also able to repair coils.
Have the job knowledge to run the benders, program new circuits, and maintain the equipment.
Understanding of basic Lean Principles of 8 Wastes and 5S program. The ability to contribute new ideas and sustain these processes.
Must consistently demonstrate good performance in the area of productivity, safety, and overall work habits.
Ability to fill-in for the Station Leader, directing and training a group of Mechanics.
Basic knowledge of computers including but not limited to Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Team leader, Plant superintendent or Plant manager.
Must have good attendance. This requires applicant not to have been on the points system in the previous year.
