Our Land Planning market follows a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates the combined expertise of civil engineers, landscape architects, planners and surveyors. We excel at projects both large and small in scale-whether it's creating site plans for a development, designing public spaces and bike/pedestrian paths, or incorporating green, low-impact features that help improve a community's quality of life. Responsibilities:
Perform work on all phases of various landscape architectural projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination, and correlation of construction drawings.
Prepare schematics, design development, and construction documents.
Develop, modify and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
Research materials to determine appropriate selection for the project.
Plan, coordinate, and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
Prioritize project assignments to meet market/firm expectations.
Responsible for the management and ensuring the success of projects from both the client's and the firm's perspective
Mentor and supervise junior staff to assure their career goals are being advanced to create a dynamic learning environment.
Contribute to firm growth as an integral member of pursuit teams winning new work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
Minimum 7 years of Landscape Architecture design experience required.
Professional licensure required.
Strongly prefer design experience on large projects such as commercial, municipal, residential, or parks/recreation.
Ability to interact professionally and comfortably with a variety of personalities and communication styles while building and maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships in a collaborative environment.
Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Land FX, and Photoshop software.
