Job Description:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing all business aspects of the restaurant, lead day-to-day operations, and provide excellent customer service to our members and guests.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

  • Create an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed

  • Manage all business aspects of restaurant

  • Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to

  • Responsible for all staff hires and training

  • Manage budgets, inventory control, and accounting principles of business

  • Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as financial success of establishment

  • Diffuse tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons if needed

  • Sustain and optimize profitability, performance and guest satisfaction

  • Available to work overtime when required

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager


 


Safety and Environmental Responsibilities



  • Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.

  • Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area.

  • Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.  


 


Technical and Physical Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • TIPS certified preferred

  • 2 years’ restaurant experience preferred

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
