Job Description:

The Director of Food & Beverage is tasked with overseeing the management of Belle’s at Old Port Cove, Belle’s at North Palm Beach, Belle’s at Rybovich, Latitude 26, and Latitude Poolside. Their responsibilities include ensuring that the businesses operate in accordance with Safe Harbor operating standards and metrics. This individual will provide leadership to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and/or Restaurant Manager, and will play a pivotal role in directing the overall operation, culture, atmosphere, and success of the restaurants. Furthermore, they will be responsible for establishing and implementing quality and consistency that aligns with the Safe Harbor brand and standards.


 


The ideal candidate for this position will possess extensive hospitality experience, strong culinary and leadership skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and ambition. This role carries significant responsibility in both business management and culinary skill and professionalism. It requires a dynamic, energetic, and motivated leader and offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the high expectations and responsibilities involved. 


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Developing and Implementing Standard Operating Procedures

  • Establishing and Implementing Training Programs

  • Managing Vendor Relations through Implementation and Negotiation

  • Oversight of Procurement Management

  • Ensuring Financial Accountability

  • Managing Operating Systems, Point of Sale (POS) Systems, Inventory, Bar Programming, and Scheduling Programs

  • Cultivating a Positive Work Environment to Enhance Employee Retention and Job Satisfaction

  • Investigation and resolution of member complaints concerning food quality, service, and operational issues

  • Maintenance of equipment inventories and management of service contracts

  • Creation and approval of budgets, payroll management, and ensuring operational expenses align with the plan

  • Management of theft and loss prevention

  • Design a compelling and alluring menu that reflects current food trends and incorporates appropriate pricing for the dishes.

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager


 


Technical and Physical Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • TIPS certified preferred

  • 5 years’ restaurant experience preferred

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and an understanding of customers’ needs
