Set Pay Rate: $22.28Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday The Lead worker manages Inbound and Outbound reviews and processes all inbound/outbound personal property shipments within the 28 central counties of PA for those who are traveling CONUS and OCONUS. The counselor utilizes and performs duties in DPS, DFAS SmartVoucher, MyPay, MilMove, and HomeSafe systems for processing and investigation of personal property shipments. The counselor processes and closes out inbound PPM shipments for customers arriving to the office's area of responsibility through DPS and DFAS SmartVoucher.
Provides quality service to walk ins, appointments, and remote contact customers. Advises customers about their orders and shipping entitlements for their moves for all branches of service. Maintains files for accuracy and upkeep.
Stays up to date with required trainings, certification, and any updates to industry policies regarding personal property and PCS travel.
Admin duties are assisting the Supervisor in training new staff and maintaining a positive and constructive team spirit among all site staff members. Assists and addresses all customer questions and concerns which includes explaining claim settlements.
Counsel customers on the procedures and policies for shipping and receiving personal property including claims procedures.
Uses DPS and MilMove systems to maintain the queues, review, and process all UB/HHG/PPM/NTS/NTSR shipments.
Respects confidentiality and carries out all responsibilities in a professional manner with regard to site appearance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with all policies.
Admin team leader responsibilities include assisting with the training of new employees and standing in for the PM when the PM is absent. Assists in determining creative and effective ways to disseminate essential information to customers in the office, on campus, and at annual expo events.
Keeps required job training and certification up to date and properly documented.
