The Human Resource Intern will be responsible for assisting the Human Resource Business Partner with projects starting in January 2025 - December 2025. This will transition to full-time in the summer.
Areas of Learning/Responsibilities
Partners with Human Resource Business Partner on full cycle recruiting which includes posting job requisitions, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, participating in onsite interviews, making offers and onboarding.
Partners with manager and business leaders to assure successful employee engagement through involvement in the Culture Committee, stay interviews and other activities.
Participate in United Way initiatives.
Assures effective delivery of HR service to assigned site(s) by being responsive to site-specific concerns while maintaining consistency.
Ensures cross-functional collaboration across site(s) by actively participating in projects and activities with different areas of the organization, to come together to achieve a common goal.
Ensures accuracy and completion of employee related data and documentation.
Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications.
Supports business projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related degree.
Workday experience preferred.
Previous office experience preferred.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and ability to advise on laws and regulations affecting HR practices.
Knowledge of HR approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
