Essential to this Position

The Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Accounting Team with projects starting in the fall of 2024.

Areas of Learning/Responsibilities

• Compile financial information to prepare journal entries and various analyses


• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts


• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met


• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities


• Evaluate procedures for process improvements and update documentation

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred


• Knowledge in relevant accounting software (SAP, Microsoft Office, including advanced excel formulas)


• Accounting background, with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and processes


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
