Create and manipulate graphics files with the Macintosh platforms utilizing Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design and Acrobat PDF files.
Learn new equipment and procedures quickly and easily pass on this knowledge to others.
Utilize imposition, color separation and trapping skills.
Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
Actively participates in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Should be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Other Requirements (education, experience, skills/knowledge)
Experience with the Macintosh platform utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite of Software. ie: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
Offset and/or Flexographic printing knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to color separate and step and repeat electronic art.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently or in a team setting in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be able to function in highly technical environment in fast-paced high stress and tight deadlines.
Knowledge of a high-end graphic system is considered an asset.
