Sr IT Program Manager:


The Sr IT Program Manager will lead and manage technology programs from initiation to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive overall programs. The Sr IT Program Manager plays a pivotal leadership role, ensuring success and fostering growth among IT Project Managers and Scrum Masters. They are responsible to coach APMO process and ensure the team adheres to CAVA agile principles and practices while delivering high-quality software products within the specified timelines.



What You'll Do:





  • Provide strategic program leadership and oversight for a portfolio of complex initiatives, utilizing Hybrid and Agile PMO leadership skills, principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Inspire and lead a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Manage end-to-end execution of programs, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and objectives.

  • Implement proactive measures to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.

  • Develop plans in collaboration with leaders on goals, budgets, schedules, and methods for measuring results.

  • Align with leaders to set, track, and record metrics, managing programs to adhere to milestones.

  • Establish communication plans and provide status updates to stakeholders regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.

  • Drive budget process standards in collaboration with Finance and ITLT to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

  • Partner with vendors, managing relationships and contracts to support program objectives.

  • Drive best practices, templates, tools, and partnerships to expand and grow the organization.

  • Earn the trust of team members and managers by consistently embracing CAVA's values.

  • Actively contribute to the PMO department to complete tasks and meet company goals.

  • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset

  • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly

The Qualifications:





  • 10 years' experience in technology and PMO space, with increasing levels of responsibility.

  • People leader with the ability to hire, mentor, develop, and build high-performing teams.

  • Proven success managing multiple concurrent technical projects with demonstrated abilities as a leader utilizing project management skills, principles, theories, and concepts.

  • History of developing strong relationships across IT and business organizations.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals and market trends while adapting to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.

  • Solid understanding of information technology, specifically with complex technical environments, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Accountable for the overall delivery of highly complex, cross-functional programs and projects impacting the enterprise, accountable for scope, schedule, and communication management.

  • Participation in the development and sustainability of Project Management, QA, and Development Frameworks.

  • Ability to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies, with a knack for understanding all issues and translating them into process improvement solutions.

  • Ability to provide clear rationale for designs and strategies in a compelling, context-appropriate manner to diverse audiences.

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft tools and Jira/Atlassian.

  • Occasional travel required.


Physical Requirements:




  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.

  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details.

  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.

  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable.

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
