Job Summary

Facilitate decisions and drive financial improvement in the production phase of our business, by partnering with the Commercial and Sales teams to track and drive platform profitability.     

Responsibilities


  • Track platform profitability

  • Manage improvement actions via Commercial Roadmap

  • Provide management with forward-looking performance estimates

  • Assist Commercial teams in developing competitive and profitable pricing strategies

  • Partner with Operations to ensure accurate platforming (mentor and train)

  • Weekly review with Commercial leads to ensure alignment of and execution to targets

  • Provide leadership with regular financial updates

  • Lead Monthly, Quarterly and annual plan development

  • Drive overall achievement of platform profit commitments

  • Champion budget achievement for Commercial teams

  • Manage team of Revenue Analysts

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in finance, business, or accounting.

  • 7+ years of experience related to financial management in a manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years of experience within the automotive industry. 

  • Proven ability to effectively lead a team working across multiple functions.

  • Negotiation (information gathering, analysis, strategies, tactics) skills.

  • Problem Solving

  • Financial understanding of Commercial negotiation strategies

  • Proficient in Accounting, with specific focus on Revenue recognition

  • Proficient in HFM and Metrix.
