Under direct supervision, you will accelerate the receipt and processing of client data and prepare checks for clearing, all while adhering to standard banking procedures. Your contributions will directly impact our clients and service partners as you prepare essential information following specified guidelines.
Commitment
This contract position requires a commitment of 38-40 hours per week, highlighting the importance of reliable attendance.
Essential Job Functions
In this role, you will:
Receive, sort, and process remittances and invoice data with precision.
Open and manage incoming mail, extracting invoices and payments, and preparing batches for processing.
Adhere to established corporate and departmental policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Additional Responsibilities
Cross-training in various functional areas is encouraged to ensure coverage of critical department functions, such as mail sorting and data entry. You may also be assigned additional duties to support the team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail are essential.
Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to operate general office equipment.
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
Dedication to meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers, achieving production and accuracy standards within your first 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in lockbox processing or item processing is a plus.
Proficiency in 10-key and PC/keyboard operations is beneficial.
