Attindas' Incontinence Supplier, Home Delivery Incontinent Supplies Co. (HDIS) located in St. Louis is looking for an Director, Payor Product Strategy to join the team!

The Director of Payer Strategy is responsible for defining, implementing, and executing strategies that enable Attindas to become a preferred Home and Durable Medical Equipment (HDME) partner for health plans in the U.S. This includes developing and implementing Product Services and Solutions to address challenges managed care organizations face in delivering HDME benefits to their members, negotiating with payers, refining product offerings and positioning for the health plan segment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Director of Payer Product Solutions initiatives will enable HDIS to be easy to do business. The Director of Payer Strategies will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and ensure product-market fit. This role will garner deep customer insights, build market segmentation, develop product and portfolio positioning, craft market development strategies, define tactics and content, ensure operational readiness, and sustain market growth. This individual will ideate, execute, and deliver the business case necessary to develop product features and a roadmap. This individual will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop product messaging, market development activities, key customer relationships, website content, and other projects/programs directly promoting and supporting health plan sales activities. The individual will also work closely with operations teams to define customer onboarding requirements and develop product training materials.
Key responsibilities:
Defining the organization's strategy for aligning the organization's products and services with the needs and gaps of health plans.
Leading the development of products and services, broad commercialization, and go-to-market strategies.
Collect insights and build market analyses that justify product initiatives through clear value propositions and comprehensive business cases.
Understand the suppliers, distributors, partners, and competitors in the Home and Durable Medical Equipment space.
Analyze and incorporate key market and policy trends, customer needs, market segmentation, disease state insights, and competitive offerings to develop the product's commercialization strategy.
Work on various collaborative projects with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Communications, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management.
Collect insights and build market analyses that provide the data to justify product initiatives through clear value propositions.
Remain abreast of policies impacting the healthcare payors (Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health plans), providers, and patients.
Support the tactical execution of select marketing initiatives delivering against predefined strategies to achieve product and business objectives and goals.
Support the development and execution of promotional materials and programs directed at key customers to drive awareness and education.
Support the Marketing team in developing product and portfolio positioning, messaging, and brand marketing campaigns.
Support ideation and development of promotional materials for health plans and healthcare providers.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration
10+ years of professional experience working in a team setting in the healthcare industry.
7+ years of product management experience in the healthcare benefits management space.
Deep understanding of health policy and its impact on payors, providers, patients, and suppliers.
Deep understanding of medical economics, reimbursement models, and business models in the healthcare industry
Understanding of health plan benefits management space
Demonstrated understanding of market development and commercial launches for new products.
Demonstrated ability to launch and market products successfully in a highly competitive market.
Demonstrated ability to perform the position's essential duties with or without accommodation.

Deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and its key stakeholders and players

Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experiences Years of Experience/Education/Certifications:
MBA or MHA degree is strongly preferred
Experience with P&L related responsibilities
