Leading appropriate SIM (short interval management) cycles within the Schneider Production System.
Analyzing and evaluating problems with inventory, delivery, and/or sales orders. Providing periodic reports and updates to management.
Organizing and assigning work to ensure it is completed in accordance with internally established procedures, good management practices, quality and safety.
Develop/update standard operating procedures in the Quality Management System
Providing direction and management of the plant cycle counting program
Assisting with other materials department initiatives such as: i nventory/replenishment strategy analysis and reduction opportunities
What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelors degree OR equivalent years of experience in the related field.
3 years minimum experience in a supervision role.
Strong working knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Access, etc)
SAP experience a plus
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and application preferred.
Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
