As the CNC Engineering Sales Manager, you will lead and coordinate the activities of the sales engineering and technical center team from customer concept inception through delivery and acceptance. Responsibilities include an understanding of CNC Machine tools, customer part blueprints, machine tool options, and manufacturing process. You will interview, hire, train, develop, and performance lead top level talent. In addition, you will develop plans in accordance with the Vice President of Sales to increase sales opportunities in the region and push yourself and your team to exceed each goal. This role provides leadership and general management to our office in Dover, NH which consists of the technical center showroom and its employees including sales engineers, field service managers, facilities, and an automation engineering team. Lead the customer facing CNC equipment and option selection process with your team of sales engineers to ensure customer needs are met with a highly efficient design and a well documented order that's handed off to our contracts team to project manage.
Create annual business plans and sales strategies and initiate and coordinate these plans to penetrate new markets.
Direct and coordinate sales activities to achieve/exceed sales targets for unit sales, gross margin dollars, regional builder market share, and new customer growth.
Hold team accountable for handling opportunities, forecasts, quotes, leads and account coverage activities in Salesforce.com and provide weekly updates on the state of business.
Set, review, maintain, measure, and lead sales staff to specific goals and metrics in Salesforce.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
Prepare, supervise, and manage budgets and expenditures.
Daily travel throughout the Northern New England territory is required (more than 50%) with some overnight travel expected.
Perform general building management responsibilities including assisting in coordinating building contracts and services required with a local facilities employee.
This is an in-person role working daily out of the Dover, NH office.
Maintain a clean and safe office and tech center environment.

Qualifications & Competencies:
5+ years of machine tool industry and manufacturing experience with a combination of technical and sales roles preferred
Experience in either capital equipment sales, application engineering, or manufacturing design
Experience building and maintaining supplier or vendor relationships
Experience working in Manufacturing or Capital Sales Distribution environment (preferred)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
General understanding of accounting including profit and loss.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to encourage and develop teams.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications and Salesforce.com.
