Description: Judge Direct Placement is seeking a degreed Safety Manager outside of Milwaukee, WI! They will be responsible for safe teamwork amongst associates and operations teams, including the transportation department. The qualified candidate will investigate and analyze all safety issues and make corrective actions. The Safety Manager is responsible for training, providing leadership and direction on safety, compliance and the protection of the associates, the facility, transportation department and the company.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the contact person regarding all aspects of safety including training, record keeping, OSHA compliance and management
Oversee the Behavior Risk Improvement process to ensure all teams are meeting regularly, setting goals, and completing and tracking observations
Investigate accidents and injuries to determine the cause
Accountable for reviewing all injury reports and investigations for completeness and accuracy
Promote safety awareness
Participate in safety audits
Ensure all building and equipment safety inspections are conducted and recorded
Schedule annual associate training and recommend disciplinary actions as needed
Responsible for correct records of all safety and training certifications
Conduct training sessions
Track safety metrics and identify trends
Responsible for monthly audit of the OSHA 300 log
Supervise direct reports in the performance of their duties, complete performance reviews and provide feedback
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety preferred
5+ years' of safety/risk experience
3 years supervisory experience
Active participation in location safety programs
Certified in First Aid or CPR
10 and 30 hour OSHA course certification
Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
