Description: Our client is currently seeking a Retail Procedure Writer
Experience with Developing, Writing, and Updating Procedures/Job Aids
Financial Institution experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and update procedures as needed.
Respond to phone calls, emails, and personnel requests for procedural and operational support.
Identify, research, track, monitor, and resolve operational and technical changes related to procedures.
Tasks:
Develop, write, and update procedures as assigned.
Obtain background information through research and interviews. Submit work for review or edit.
Maintain thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, products, services, data processing systems, and software.
Understand state and federal laws and regulations related to compliance, including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
Update procedure changes as required. Validate and review system changes.
Assist in implementing approved procedures by coordinating document distribution and responding to questions.
Participate in project teams affecting frontline staff.
Perform other assigned tasks.
Skills and Abilities:
Effective business communication skills.
Strong procedural writing skills with hands-on experience in a retail or equivalent environment.
Manual dexterity to operate computer terminals and standard office equipment.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma required; some college courses desired.
Experience: Two years or more in writing procedures and retail or equivalent banking experience.
Knowledge/Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Familiarity with data processing systems and software. Advanced writing skills, strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Basic skills to operate standard office equipment.
