Job Description:




Responsibilities




Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Perform general ledger accounting tasks


  • Compilation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports


  • Works with the Team to assist clients through various regulatory audits


  • Assist on financial projections for healthcare entities


  • Prioritize multiple jobs at one time


  • Participate in practice development/marketing activities


  • Strive to meet productivity goals assigned by the Firm


  • Other projects as assigned



Qualifications




Minimum Educational and Professional Requirements:



  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major concentration in accounting, finance or other related field


  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills


  • Highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic


  • Critical problem-solving skills


  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and/or accounting principles


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Very strong attention to detail


  • Professional, personable, and team-oriented


  • Adapts to change easily


  • Self-motivated and results driven


  • Proficient with software; Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, etc.
