SUMMARY



Bering Global Solutions a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Senior Team Lead/Supervisor for a position in Idaho Falls, ID. The team lead as a supervisor is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the IT Support Group. The lead will also manage the personnel that supports DOE-ID COMS and the DOE-ID Information Management Division (IMD). The team lead will need to be versatile and have a wide range of IT skills especially server operations to support the organization. The lead will be required to work as a lead project manager and help desk support expert over daily duties in support of the DOE-ID office user base. The lead will be responsible for keeping IMD informed via metrics and status on all IT operational tasks and issues.

Responsibilities




ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze complex process and provide technical expertise in resolving
  • Provide guidance and direction to support staff with complex
  • Coordinate with DOE-ID to establish and define programs, resources, projects, solutions, and related risks.
  • Assign and coordinate necessary resources to address problem
  • Develop standard operating policies and procedures for all computer operations that identify and mitigate risk or address regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate resolution of highly complex problems and
  • Implement records retention periods for data storage
  • Change Management and incident response
  • Ensure program follows related federal regulations and DOE

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO's)


  • 10 years of related work experience
  • MSCE or CISSM


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics


  • Information Assurance, Technical Analysis and Design
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and Project or similar software

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
