Our client in the NE Atlanta Area is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a Direct-Hire position.
This is a 100% On-Site opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead month-end close by preparing and posting journal entries, conducting account analysis, and ensuring financial statement accuracy.
Perform extensive balance sheet reconciliations, supporting audit inquiries and documentation.
Handle sales tax filings and intercompany transactions as part of financial reporting.
Produce financial reports to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
Manage and analyze operational and financial data to track key metrics and trends.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation for P&L and balance sheet inquiries.
Drive ad hoc projects to enhance financial processes and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data capture.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
3-5+ Years of senior-level accounting experience, with a focus on month-end closing processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Related Field.
Strong Microsoft Excel Skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and data analysis functions.
Experience with ERP Systems, SAP preferred.
