The Logistician III (LGT3) will serve as a critical team member at NSWC Crane, providing leadership in logistics and ensuring the effective integration of logistics processes within operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments. This role is responsible for leading a team through inventory, shipping/receiving, milestone management, and defining logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage logistics teams, ensuring the smooth execution of inventory control, shipping/receiving operations, and milestone management.
Define, develop, and maintain processes and procedures to be used by the logistics team to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Ensure compliance with DoD logistics regulations and policies, with experience handling key DoD forms such as 1149s, 1348s, and more.
Utilize inventory tracking systems to manage, monitor, and reconcile logistics data.
Provide oversight and direction on logistics integration and ensure processes align with project and organizational goals.
Prepare and implement logistics directives to guarantee that logistics support is timely, effective, and compliant with established standards.
Establish and enforce standards to ensure the logistics workforce is properly trained and equipped to perform their duties efficiently.
Develop, initiate, and manage logistics actions associated with the life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics support throughout the acquisition and operational processes.
Experience with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) is preferred.
