We are currently seeking candidates to fill a HR Generalist role. This position is responsible for supporting the organization by leading and administering various human resources programs or policies within talent acquisition, community engagement, DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging), employee experience initiatives, internal communications, and compliance.
What will you do in this role?
Administer and support global Employee Engagement activities (Engagement surveys, events, etc.).
Lead and provide support for global internal communications initiatives.
Build and maintain community partnerships with organizations near our manufacturing plants within North America through the administration of the Philanthropy process and other community-related programs.
Manage Flexcon’s relationship with schools through activities such as an Internship program, attending career fairs to attract students, coordinating on-site tours, and more.
Support Recruiting Process to attract and retain top talent.
Lead and participate in various department projects and maintain departmental operations, as assigned.
Collaborate with marketing regarding external public relations through activities like recruiting and DEIB social media posts.
Support DEIB strategy and programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
Partner with third party vendor to administer EEO-1, affirmative action program and reporting, Veteran’s Reporting to support Flexcon Holdings filing
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
Analyze and present data to problem solve and increase process efficiency.
Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.
Drive and participate in various continuous improvement activities within the Human Resource department to support the culture of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
What does it take to be successful in this role?
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant human resource experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge of EEO and affirmative action guidelines preferred.
Certification in PHR or SHRM-CP is desirable.
Solid understanding of employment law.
Proficiency in HR software and systems (UKG preferred).
Proficiency in project management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
