Job Description: Classify positions at all levels based on program position analysis and develop evaluation statements. Draft new Position Descriptions (PD); edit and rewrite existing PDs; coordinate with the Office of Human Resource (OHR) Classification staff for the classification of positions. Make Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA), Bargaining Unit Status (BSU), and Position Designation determinations. Coordinate with Labor and Employee Relations Specialists to assign on the aforementioned items. Perform desk audits and classification and position reviews; review PDs; update HR information systems. Review and advise on reorganization and realignment plans. Make corrections to BUS and FLSA status codes. Assist the point of contact with the following duties: Ensure employee and system FLSA records are correct. Update the OMBMax dashboard. Validate that standard practices are institutionalized including completion of BUS checklist as required by Instruction 511-1. Provide regular progress reports to OHR.
