Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 2 Program Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This a hybrid role. Some travel will be required to new stores, as needed.

Key Tasks:


  • Work with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers across multiple Merchandising Domains and teams to help deliver new data mapping technology to support the newly merged Company

  • Work with other Project Managers and IMO Leaders to ensure weekly and executive status is accurate and audience appropriate

  • Work cross-functionally to deliver technology with multiple dependencies on other Company and Albertsons Tech Pillars

  • Mentor and coach Project Managers within the program

  • Establish and update project and program plans with actual and forecasts and manage deviations from plan and program parameters

  • Ensure all program and project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and vigorously pursued to deliver the final product

  • Deliver to time and cost within agreed tolerances for projects/programs

  • Provide leadership for project managers and stakeholders and apply conflict resolution skills to resolve program and project issues

  • Manage program and project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed

  • Create and track schedules, budget, risks and issues

  • Maintain program level communications with stakeholders at multiple levels

  • Work with peers to develop and drive goals, define technical specifications and detailed implementation plans for projects/programs

  • Effectively apply skills to impact program decisions

  • Focus on the benefits to be realized and the outcomes to be achieved







REQUIREMENTS:



  • PMP certification

  • Experience leading an acquisition, merger, or related program

  • Experience in leadership position delivering large and/or complex projects and programs

  • Experience with managing external customers and understanding of deployment lifecycles is a plus

  • Dynamic presenter and facilitator skills, experience in presenting to senior management

  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget

  • Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions

  • Confident, solution-oriented independent worker

  • Possess strong engagement management skills, strong business acumen, deep technical insights and the ability to speak in both business and technical terms

  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization

  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation

  • Ability to anticipate and manage project/program risks






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
