Quality Technician - Final Inspector
Manchester, CT United States | req18905 Monday - Friday 1st Shift
What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will perform inspections, as well as in-process inspections of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, documents, drawings, and workmanship standards

  • You will coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments, gauges used for product acceptance or verification

  • You will assist engineering and operations in the investigation of non-conformities

  • You will perform inspections using precision measurement equipment/devices

  • You will assist in contract review of customer orders ensuring adherence to all applicable specs and other flow downs

  • You will ensure proper documentation including fine print details on all product certifications


What makes you great


  • A High School Diploma/GED is required in this role

  • You must be able to complete Praxair Metallurgical Technician Training and maintain certification

  • Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality Management systems, working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements per AS9102

  • Moreover you must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends and holidays as needed

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills is required

  • Ability to pass a vision test
