Summary:The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, analysis, and documentation are being done correctly and according to various quality control standards of the company and its customers. The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for conducting inspections and audits during the manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:(Include the following; however, other duties may apply.)
Conduct internal audits, and any product or process inspection.
Responsible for specific and non-specific customer specifications and requirements compliance to produce product.
Interact with manufacturing plant personnel, plant supervisory personnel, customer quality personnel and customer service representatives.
Provide direction for manufacturing personnel that have questions relating to any product, material, or processes.
Responsible for quality control of manufacturing parts throughout the production cycle to ensure strict compliance with the drawings before shipping.
Measure dimensions and tolerances using digital caliper, micrometers and other special measurement instruments and equipment.
Inspect manufacturing parts against requirements of blueprints.
Record and analyze testing results to determine whether to certify or reject specific products.
Review new and existing products to ensure the compliance documentation is present
Maintain production process flow records and instructions
Maintains legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements and obtaining approvals.
Assists in the continuing development and executes the LP & Safety evaluation plan

The ideal candidate should excel in teamwork, be adept at blueprint reading, understand GD&T, and be familiar with various measuring instruments and standard operating procedures. Familiarity with the SAP MRP system is advantageous, and proficiency in using calipers and micrometers in both Metric and Inch units is required. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in Microsoft Excel and possess overall computer proficiency. Language skills:Proficiency in language is essential for this role, with a preference for bilingual proficiency in English and either Burmese or Spanish. The candidate should possess the ability to read, interpret, and translate various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Additionally, the role requires the capacity to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as effective communication with organization employees. Mathematical Skills:Ability to perform basic mathematical computations; ability to convert metric units correctly and apply the conversions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability:This role necessitates strong reasoning skills, including problem definition, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions. The ability to interpret technical instructions, understand laboratory standards, and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision is crucial.
