We are looking for a Modeling & Simulation (M&S) System Analysis Lead to join our team in supporting the PEO Missiles and Space (PEO MS), Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Project Office.

The M&S System Analysis Lead will provide M&S and Analysis subject matter expertise (SME) to PM SHIELD, Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Directorate, and M&S Division in the support of the IFPC product office. They will provide engineering oversight, guidance, and support to the IFPC Product Manager and ensure IFPC M&S analysis tasks integrate into SHIELD program plans. They will support the M&S Division Chief in the development of the annual budget inputs for the M&S and Analysis Division.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Lead the technical efforts in the IFPC product office consisting of modeling and simulation (M&S) and analysis efforts in the application and execution of systems engineering principles, processes, and activities.
• Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the oversight and execution of analysis for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), Digital Modeling and Simulation (M&S), and analysis tasks in support of the IFPC product office.
• Utilizing engineering skills to support the planning and execution of system performance analysis, independent performance assessments, lethality assessments, risk analysis, test readiness reviews, post-test analysis, and simulation VV&A activities.
• Participating in weekly Test and Evaluation (T&E) meetings for situational awareness.
• Providing Input to TEMP production and assisting in any peripheral analysis activities requested by T&E.
• Participating in weekly Software Engineering meetings for situational awareness.
• Participating in M&S Meetings for situational awareness.
• Participating in weekly M&S Meetings with AvMC Modeling & Simulation for situational awareness.
• Participating in IFPC Staff Call and update Analysis Chart.
• Coordinating, Scheduling, and Leading the AvMC Data Analysis support team with IDDS-A and E-IFPC Support Efforts.
• Understanding and participating in AvMC Data Analysis support team deliverables and updates to the IFPC Chief Engineer, IFPC PdM, SHIELD SE&I Director and M&S/SA Division Chief, SHIELD PM/DPM (SE&I Staff Call), and other IPT Division Chiefs.
• Acting as the tertiary lead in the representation of Product Office M&S announcements to AvMC M&S and Data Analysis team when needed.
• Supporting Developmental Testing and Operational Assessments and executing the Joint Analysis Teams (JAT) at WSMR.
• Preparing technical briefings and reports, and briefing stakeholders to keep all parties apprised of IFPC analysis product accomplishments and issues.
• Supporting product IPTs, risk reviews, program manager reviews (PMR), and M&S Division staff calls.
• Ability to travel occasionally in support of on-site test activities or coordination with IFPC contractors

At a minimum you should have the following:

• An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
• A bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical analysis skills.
• Effective communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Experience with Army air defense systems.

Estimated Salary: $125,000-$145,000
