The QAF Certification Technician, based in Chandler AZ, is responsible for testing and calibration of work-in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with company and/or customer quality standards. This position will support a close-knit team of employees in ensuring the delivery of a safe and reliable product to our customers. The working hours are Monday to Friday 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Oversees cleaning, welding, fabrication, and assembly activities for compliance with specifications
Verifies flow schematics, inspection of welds, and troubleshooting electrical systems
Supports and follows the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance program at the site
Monitors dimensional inspection of tubing, piping components, and assemblies
Performs functional testing using electro-mechanical and electronic instrumentation
Calibrates pressure transducers and electronics weight scales and other process instrumentation
Performs helium leak tests with mass spectrometer leak detector
Performs pneumatic control testing of ultra-high purity equipment and gas panels/cabinets
Performs final quality review of equipment prior to release to customer
10% travel in the domestic US.

Bend, stoop, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, and or reach above shoulder
Wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, masks, and or steel toed safety shoes)
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Electronics, Industrial Process Controls, or other technical discipline
- OR -
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of quality or electrical controls experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures
Technical training in electronic computer controls or PLC process controls
Experience performing helium leak tests with mass spectrometer leak detector
Overseeing welding and fabrication assembly activities for compliance with specifications
Experience with entering data using an overhead HMI screen and or desktop computer
Experience with PLC or microprocessor-based process controls
Experience using hardware and software packages effective to enhance productivity
Previous experience with SAP
