Job Summary:


The Reinsurance Pricing Department of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for an Actuarial Analyst I to join the International team in our Miami, Florida office.


This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote.




Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Working closely with other actuaries and underwriters in support of our Latin America book of business


  • Performing transactional actuarial pricing analyses


  • Conducting lines of business studies and profitability reviews


  • Working closely with the Solutions team to develop and test new models related to reinsurance pricing, as well as improve existing models.


  • Work with other actuaries across the International branches to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices






Qualifications, Education & Experience:


  • 1-3 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience - large account or reinsurance pricing a plus.


  • Ideally has line of business experience in Latin America and/or Caribbean markets.


  • 2-5 actuarial exams and pursuing credentialing in the Casualty Actuarial Society.


  • SQL, Python, and/or R experience preferred.


  • Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency required






Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • A business-oriented focus (motivated, self-directed, organized, and analytical).


  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
