Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Program Director, the Program Supervisor provides support and supervision to the Mobile Crisis staff and the Call Center for both the Crisis Line and Access Line. Responsibilities include assisting in the overall operations of the program, offering ongoing coaching to new and existing staff, conducting case consultations, and collaborating with the Clinical Program Director to ensure operational efficiency, exceptional customer service, and compliance with funder contractual obligations and accreditation standards. The position also involves active listening, collaborative problem-solving, and safety planning for individuals experiencing crises. This program operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility and shift work as assigned.

How will I contribute
Assist the Clinical Program Director in managing program operations 24/7, providing support for After Hours and additional service lines. Supervise staff and interns as appropriate, assigning tasks to team members to meet program needs. Oversee staff in the call center, ensuring effective management of crisis line and access line phone calls through training. Provide documentation training and tracking for all calls received, in accordance with contractual data collection requirements. Manage staff development to ensure training and professional growth are regularly implemented, leading to measurable on-the-job efficiencies and effectiveness. Offer supervision, support, mediation, performance evaluations, quality assurance, and facilitate in-service training for staff and volunteers. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new staff. Evaluate data, perform data entry, and monitor administrative files for accuracy and compliance. Foster teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery and client outcomes within the program and across the agency. Communicate staff successes and challenges to the program director, providing and implementing recommendations as needed. Monitor relevant grant contracts to ensure that required supporting documentation is obtained. Attend and participate in coalition, partnership, and community meetings as necessary. Identify new collaboration opportunities (both internal and external) and explore options with the Clinical Program Director. Maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and stakeholders. Attend agency meetings as required, including evenings and weekends when necessary. Adhere to professional confidentiality guidelines by sharing client information within the organization only when it serves the client's needs. Develop and maintain employee schedules, considering workload, staffing requirements, and employee availability. Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate staffing changes, unexpected absences, or operational demands to ensure adequate coverage. Schedule and facilitate breaks to minimize impact on service delivery metrics.May encounter risk of working with persons with SMI (serious mental illness) that may include, but not limited to persons in mental health crisis, persons that may be intoxicated or impaired by drugs or alcohol, persons who may be DTO (danger to others), DTS (Danger to Self), or GD (Gravely Disabled). If such situations arise, staff will be required to call local emergency personnel to help deescalate the crisis, use crisis intervention techniques, and consult with supervisor as soon as practically possible. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning and success of the program.

What I bring
Associate's degree: Social work, Psychology, Human Services, or related Class C Driving License4 years of experience in a related field or setting, such as community-based services, social services, behavioral health, school-based programs, or residential environments, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role.Supervisory experience in mental health/substance abuse care systems, and/or crisis services needed, especially in the non-profit or public health sector. Knowledge of crisis services and operations.

Ability to foster teamwork, work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness. Ability to lead, positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization. Ability to be flexible and versatile in a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency. Ability to Interpret and manage program budgets. Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Willingness to develop collaborative relationships with other community crisis intervention providers and mental health educators by assisting with support and education.
Experience in overseeing quality care and monitoring performance indicators for a program is strongly preferred. Knowledge and expertise in public health issues such as capacity building and sustainability (funding streams, payment methods, performance efficiencies, etc.) preferred. Bachelors degree Preferred.
