Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their processes and data requirements
  • Document and analyze business processes to identify key data needs and dependencies
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive data models that support our AWS data lakehouse architecture
  • Work closely with data architects and engineers to map business processes to logical and physical data models
  • Develop and maintain detailed mapping documents that define the relationships between source systems, data models, and target AWS data structures
  • Define and document data transformation rules to ensure accurate and efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Develop and implement data quality rules to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data within the data lakehouse
  • Monitor data quality metrics and collaborate with relevant teams to address any issues
  • Create clear, detailed documentation of business process mappings, data transformation rules, and data quality standards
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on business process mapping and data modeling
  • Proven experience in extracting and analyzing complex data relationships from existing operational system data models
  • Experience in documenting data transformation rules and mapping documents
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and data lakehouse architecture
  • Strong understanding of financial domain business processes and data requirements
  • Experience in developing and implementing data quality rules and monitoring processes
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, PowerDesigner)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
