Position Overview



As an Assistant Project Manager, Real Estate, you will be responsible for assisting with the general oversight of Invenergy's Global Real Estate portfolio.



Responsibilities



  • Oversee all Development Office real estate transactions, coordinating with local teams on lease negotiations, brokerage selection, and lease execution review with Legal, Insurance, and the Director of Global Real Estate.


  • Collaborate with the Legal team on real estate documents, including LOIs, leases, amendments, and estoppels.


  • Gather, distribute, and manage pertinent documents in a file management system.


  • Work with a real estate database to generate reports.


  • Prepare purchase orders, review invoices, assess OPEX reconciliations, and submit project costs to stakeholders.


  • Review monthly rent invoices and facilities work orders for corporate and development offices; assist new office personnel with AP rent payment setup.


  • Collaborate with Finance on budgets, cost-saving initiatives, forecasting, and reporting.


  • Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various real estate and facilities projects, such as office requests, move management, RFP development, and rent invoicing.


  • Partner with the Facilities team on utilization reports, space optimization, reconfiguration, and real estate financial analysis.


  • Support the Sr. Project Manager of Real Estate in new buildout projects and facilitate cross-functional project teams.


  • Manage project information flow between the team and internal clients through regular meetings and communications.


  • Assist in vendor selection (architects, contractors, engineers) and coordinate project budget, scope, and schedule with designers and contractors.


  • Lead weekly project meetings with consultants and internal partners, ensuring proper coordination of IT and project communications.


  • Support the Sr. Project Manager and Director of Global Real Estate in short-term and long-term strategic planning for the Global Real Estate portfolio.





Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 2+ years of project management experience in construction services or real estate business


  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat


  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management and technical skills
