Aids in carrying out the activities of our CDC DMA-PRIME center grant- needs to be familiar with both analytic skill sets (statistical analysis, data management) and knowledge of infectious diseases. Requires the analytic expertise to handle large and complex data sets, and has both the experience and interest in infectious disease research. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - Assists faculty/staff with carrying out the activities of the CDC DMA-Prime Center grant as well as the CDC DMI-DEEP Center grant.
20% - Essential - Data/statistical analysis and data management: Handles large and complex data sets. Responsible for data cleaning and processing of electronic health records (EHR).
20% - Essential - Applies knowledge of infectious disease research experience to accomplish goals. Conducts statistical analyses based on infectious disease EHR, with a particular emphasis on intervention effectiveness.
10% - Essential - Writes and publishes quality paper for this study. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - computer science, public health, statistics or similar field. Work Exp 2+ years
RESPONSIBILITIES:
