Quality Inspector (1st and 2nd Shifts) DIRECT HIRE in Canton MA




Schedules offered:



7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (1st Shift)


3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (2nd Shift)



Pay Rate: 1st shift - $18.27-$21.64, 2nd shift - $19.75 - $23.15



Duties:



* Conduct material inspections at receiving, in-process, and final release stages to ensure compliance with product specifications.


* Keep accurate records of all inspections and testing activities.


* Generate reports for non-conforming materials upon identification.


* Verify manufacturing operations and review logbooks during production.


* Monitor and maintain temperature records for designated areas.


* Oversee the QA quarantine area and manage material documentation.


* Handle small, delicate parts during inspections with care to avoid damage.



Qualifications:



* High School graduate or GED required or may substitute 3 years of experience for educational requirements.


* Ability to read, write and speak English.


* Basic math required, addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisions.


* Ability to assess procedures and specifications against data being gathered on the job for compliance with requirements.
