About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Revenue Accountant to join our finance team. The Revenue Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue recognition processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Accomplish
Assist in the review of sales contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and company policies.
Prepare journal entires and reconcile revenue related accounts on a monthly basis.
Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, including review procedures and flux analysis for revenue.
Conduct regular reviews of revenue recognition processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing supporting documentation and explanation as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal and operations, to support the revenue process
Prepare and maintain documentation supporting revenue recognition policies and procedures
Assist in the implementation and enhancement of revenue recognition software and systems
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or progress towards CPA certification preferred.
2+ years of public accounting experience working on public companies
3-5 years experience with SAAS Revenue accounting required
Experience with consumption required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with NetSuite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and financial data.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present information clearly and concisely.
Salary Range ($108,000 - 154,000)
The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
