Job Description:

GDH is hiring a Sales Coordinator to work with our client. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is designed to support Account Representatives in servicing accounts and providing sales quotes, primarily for national or regional opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional communication and coordination skills. This position plays a crucial role in the successful execution of the company sales plans, requiring a blend of relationship-building, customer service, and technical proficiency. The role is full-time and based in our office, with the possibility of light travel as the position evolves.
  • Respond to quote requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Perform accurate data entry and collaborate with the sales team to develop solutions for complex opportunities.

  • Assist in generating reports from Salesforce and other software programs to support sales activities.

  • Facilitate the order process, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.

  • Provide backup support to account managers, responding to client requests in their absence.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and product offerings to enhance sales proposals.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and objectives.

  • Assist in the training of new staff members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a telecommunications or business environment, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in sales support or customer service.

  • Proven relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.

  • Experience with RFP or quoting management, demonstrating strong communication and coordination abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with particular emphasis on MS Outlook and MS Excel.

  • Familiarity with Proposal Management Tool or Salesforce.com is highly desirable; training will be provided.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to engage in light travel as required by the role.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
