Job Description:




We are looking for a talented CNC Robot Programmer to join our team and utilize the provided proprietary software to program robots for metal forming applications. In this role, you will play a crucial part in automating processes that enhance production efficiency and precision in metal fabrication.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize robotic programs for metal forming processes using our proprietary software.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to understand project specifications and translate them into effective robotic programs.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure accuracy and reliability in metal forming operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Document programming methodologies, updates, and system changes for future reference and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on robotic operations and maintenance.
  • Stay informed about advancements in robotics, automation technologies, and metal forming techniques.

Qualifications



Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience in programming robots for manufacturing applications, particularly in metal forming or fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of robotic systems, sensors, and industrial automation principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Other Skills

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and its integration with robotic programming.
  • Knowledge of welding, machining, or other metal forming processes.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation standards and safety protocols.
